KORA LANG started her first musical training already as a young child. At the age of six she regularly participated in dance and piano lessons and at eleven she took her first lessons of solo-singing.

After the school-leaving examination she continued in her university education in dancing, singing and dramatic art at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno, Czech Republic, studying musical theatre under the Czech famous actress and college lecturer doc. Zdena Herfortová. Kora graduated in 2004. During her studies she took part in various dance and singing workshops in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and in the year 2003 she gave her first musical recital under the name "Welcome in the 21st century" with full success.
Kora became the first university student from the Department of Musical Theatre ever honored with a 2-semester-long Erasmus/Socrates scholarship at the University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig (Germany), her branch being musical theatre.

Kora's first engagements as a guest actress were at the Brno City Theatre in the drama "Squared Marriage" in 2002 and in the musical "World Full of Angels" by Stanislav Mosa and Zdenek Merta in 2003. Besides these shows she was performing in the musical version of Karel Čapek's work "What is the theatre ?" in 2003 and in 2004 impersonating a double role as "Rozalie" and "Princess de Conti" in the musical "Fanfan la Tulipe", both performances at the Marta Theatre in Brno.

2004 - 2006 while still on stage, Kora carried on as a regular student of the musical theatre faculty at the University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig (Germany) under Prof. Uta Ernst (solo-singing), Prof. Lynnda Curry (jazz and modern dance), Tom Fletscher (tap dance), Jana Bauke and Patrik Imhof (dramatic art and improvisation). Kora finished her foreign academic education successfully acquiring her second university diploma.

For the 2005/2006 season she won the role of Peron's mistress in the musical "Evita" at the Eduard von Winterstein Theatre in Annaberg – Buchholz (Germany). Also the year 2006 brought the first offer from Krystallpalast Variety Leipzig to her. She was asked to play the role of a "Kit Kat Girl" in the musical "Cabaret". In "Cabaret" and later in the Krystallpalast Variety - Revue "Lola & Sally" she was standing on stage with the German TV-stars Andrea Kathrin Loewig, Thomas Koch, Dirk Schoedon and Uta Schorn.

At present Kora as a musical actress and singer has been acting in several productions in the whole Germany. She has performed number of roles such as Kit Kat Girl and Two Ladies in the musical "Cabaret" (Halle Opera House 2008, Theatre Wechselbad der Gefühle Dresden 2008/09, Theater Musikalische Komödie Leipzig 2010), Peggy in the musical "Hot Summer" (Open-air-theatre Regatttatribüne Berlin-Grünau 2009), Anne in the musical "La Cage aux Folles" (Theatre Wechselbad Dresden 2009/10, Theatre Fliegende Bauten Hamburg 2010), Anni in the classic "Blue Angel" (Krystallpalast Variety Leipzig 2010), Niki Harris in the musical "Curtains" or countess Drygalska in the operetta Polish Blood (Musical Theatre Karlin Prague 2011/12).
From October 2012 Kora Lang is performing the role of princess Amneris as a understudy of Lucie Bílá in Musical theatre Karlín Prague (Musical Theatre Karlin Prague 2013).

For the 2013/20014 season she won the role of Gabriella in the musical "Monte Christo" at the theatre Musikalische Komödie Leipzig and the role of Johanna in the musical "Sweeney Todd" at the Gerhart Hauptmann-Theatre Görlitz-Zittau (Germany).

Kora Lang also deeply devotes herself to concert activities as a singer. You could see and hear her for instance in the famous concert hall Gewandhaus Leipzig in the New Year Concert accompanied by the saloon orchestra Cappuccino or in the gala concert on the Mother's Day accompanied by the Operettenball-Orchestra Lepzig. Kora's great passion is also the swing trio "Chicks on Swing", being its soprano singer and co-founder.

Kora can be seen in film roles in TV-films "The Affair of the Necklace" and "A Good Boy" as well.
